Dry Herb, Oil & WaxPrice: $249.99
With so much buzz about the world’s first dual chamber vaporizer, you must have heard about the Haze Dual V3 but might be wondering if it’s worth the $249.99 price tag? If it will satisfy your vaping fantasies? Does the dual chamber design really offer any worthwhile benefits? Or is it just a fad? If you’ve any of these questions, we’ve got you covered. Just read our Haze V3 review and you’ll find all the answers because we have really put the vaporizer through its paces and are excited to share our experience with you. So let’s get started.
Just like any other product on the market, the Haze V3 has its pros and cons. But the good thing is that its pros outnumber the cons, by a considerable margin. So, let’s first take a quick look at the cons of the Haze V3, before we delve into all the goodies it has to offer.
What we didn’t like about the Haze Dual V3 Vaporizer
- The design and aesthetics
The Haze V3 is bulky and probably one of the least elegant vaporizers. It’s the size of a 4 oz. flask and looks like some old handheld radio device. When compared with the likes of the V2 Pro Series 7, G Pen Elite, or VaporFi Orbit vaporizer, the Haze V3 looks like a whole different species. But the question is, does its performance make up for the less-than-perfect design? We’ll talk about that shortly, but if you rate aesthetics and design of your vaporizer very highly, this might not be a great pick for you. Also, it’s not the smallest or lightest of vaporizers. When it comes to size, it’s bigger than the Grasshopper, Crafty and Pax 2 but smaller than the Mighty and Firefly.
Apart from aesthetics, the design is really well-thought-out. It comes with two mouthpieces, one made of glass and other of stainless steel. The stainless steel is a clear winner because it looks better and slightly cools down the vapor. Instead of an OLED screen, it has four LED lights that indicate the temperature settings, which is similar to what you see in V2 Pro Series 7, though the later has only three lights. Also, it doesn’t have a USB port, so you’ll have to charge the batteries using the external dock.
The Haze V3 isn’t as customizable as some of its competitors, it has four temperature settings which you can change using the sole button, and the LED lights will indicate the current heat level. This surely is a minor hassle and far from being a deal-breaker, because the four settings will suffice virtually all your vaping desires. Moreover, some of its high-end vaporizers such as the V2 Pro Series 7 have only three settings.
What we loved about the Haze V3 Vaporizer
- Dual chamber
V3 is the world’s first dual chamber vaporizer that allows you to continue vaping multiple materials, such as loose leaf, wax and oils, without even having to swap cartridges. Simply put, it has two stainless steel covered chambers which you can fill with different materials. What’s more, you can get extra cans that you can fill and keep handy for prolonged vaping sessions i.e. at an all-night music concert or just a man cave party. The dual chamber design is a massive breakthrough in the vaporizer industry.
No matter what you throw at the Haze V3, it’ll return an amazing, rich-flavored, smooth vapor. It comes with two convection and two conduction screens. All you have to do is choose the right screen for the material, and that’s it. What really floats your boat depends on your personal liking and vaping style, but conduction screen is considered ideal for using with the dry herbs and convection for other materials. Also, we noticed that you get the best vapor quality and flavor at levels two and three. But if you’re using concentrates, you might want to use the level four.
- Battery life
The manufacturer claims that the Haze V3 has 35% longer battery life than its peers. While we are not sure how accurate that claim is, but the Haze V3 definitely has the longest battery life. The good thing is that it comes with two 3200mAh li-ion batteries, which can be charged using the external dock. So you can charge and swap the two batteries and continue vaping for as long as you want without having to worry about the battery dying.
- Ease of use
One of the biggest advantages the Haze 3 offers over its predecessors i.e. the Haze V2 and V2.5 is the improved mouthpiece design. If you’ve used any of these older versions, you’ll definitely be acquainted with the pain in removing the mouthpiece whenever you wanted to clean the unit. Thanks to an additional lip to the mouthpiece of the V3, detaching it from the rest of the vaporizer is a breeze.
It might take a few minutes for you to get familiar with the V3 if you’ve never used a similar vaporizer, but once you do, using it will become second nature to you because everything from removing the batteries to fill up is as easy is as pie.
While it’s not the smallest of the vaporizers, it’s extremely portable for several reasons. Firstly, the it’s almost the size of 4-ounce flask, so you can easily put it in your pocket. Secondly, it allows you to carry additional cans which you can prefill with multiple materials, and easily swap them with the ones you’ve already vaped. Lastly, it comes with two batteries, and changing batteries is very simple. In short, you can vape all night with friends without any worries.
While most other vaporizers come with a warranty from a few months to two years, the Haze V3 comes with the longest warranty i.e. 10 years. That means this the manufacturer has complete confidence in its product and this is a very safe, long term investment.
As a matter of fact, the advantages of the Haze Dual V3 vaporizer outnumber its weaknesses. It might not be an elegant vaporizer, but if you want to enjoy extended vaping sessions while you’re on-the-go, and don’t want to compromise on quality of vapor, the V3 is unarguably the best choice.
