Our Verdict: The V2 Pro Series 7 Premium 3-in-1 Vaporizer is the bomb when it comes to vaping different mediums. This kit makes up for the relatively high price through advanced features such as a 3-in-1 capacity, a powerful battery, temperature and voltage options, a sleek and compact design, plus great vape all throughout.

V2Pro Series7 Vaporizer: First Impressions
V2 Series 7 portable vaporizer in hand

Design: Once you get a hold of the V2 Pro Series 7 Vaporizer, you will be enthralled even before seeing the actual device. V2 has done a great job in giving the kit a high-end packaging in a black box that has a classy label and a few details of its features here and there.

The vaporizer itself is like something that came straight out of a sci-fi movie—sleek, modern, classy, and all-in-all something that you can show off in terms of design. It is not as small as cig-a-like vaporizers, but it is compact considering the power it holds and the features it brings. Holding it is convenient as the size is just right to fit in your hand, and the metallic battery is comfortable to the touch. By its looks, the V2 Pro Series 7 represents a device that will last for years.

Build Quality: For a vape that costs $169.99, durability should be a given feature. Throughout our test, we have seen the kit survive some drops and shocks. The button stays intact, and the body does not break since it is made of metal.

The V2 Pro Series 7 3-in-1 Vaporizer does not involve screwing the battery and the tank together since it uses magnetic threading to save you from the hassle of having to put on the tank. So far, there were no issues with this feature—only more convenience in using the unit and switching from one cartridge to another. We did find a small drawback with the dry herb cartridge, as the cap did not stay on tightly when it was filled with our chosen material. It is not a durability issue but more of an engineering flaw that can be improved by V2 easily.

V2Pro Series 7 Vaporizer Kit Content

What’s in the Box: Inside the elegant box is a complete vaping kit that comes with: 1 Series 7 Vaporizer, 1 Loose Leaf Cartridge, 1 Liquid Cartridge, 1 Wall Adapter, 1 USB Charger, 1 Pick, and 1 Brush for cleaning the device.

Although it is a 3-in-1 vaporizer, the kit does not include a cartridge for wax materials. V2 has yet released their wax cartridge for the Series 7, so wax vapers may have to wait a few months more. The company has already released the wax cartridge for the Series 3, so we are expecting the Series 7 to have its own soon.

When ordering a V2 Pro Series 7 3-in-1 Vaporizer, though, make sure to add your chosen e-liquid if you do not have one in stock since the kit does not come with a free bottle.

Vaping Experience with V2 Series 7

Usability: Despite its modern look and advanced features, the V2 Pro Series 7 is fairly easy to operate. Simply twist the mouthpiece of the cartridge
until it clicks, and unscrew the cap until it comes off. Refill the cartridge with your chosen e-liquid while holding it with a little tilt. It has a glass window part where you can see how much liquid is in there, so watch out as you fill the tank. Once it is full, screw the cap on and put the mouthpiece back. Connect the cartridge to the battery, and you are ready to vape.

Turning on the unit requires three quick clicks. Once it is activated, you can either choose the voltage of the battery. Otherwise, if you are unsure of what to set it to, the battery automatically puts it at the recommended voltage based on what type of cartridge you attach.

If you want to switch to dry herbs, all you need to do is switch off the unit by clicking on the power button thrice, and removing the cartridge to replace with a dry herb cartridge. Filling it with your favorite herb, say marijuana for medicinal purposes, involves taking off the cap and putting in your loose or ground material onto the oven. Once it is full, you can put back the cap and place the cartridge into the chamber. Three clicks on the power button and you can wait for a quick 25-second heating time before you start vaping.

Cleaning is also simple using V2’s pick and brush; however, the mouthpiece is a bit difficult to clear of small particles. Replacing the cartridge will be a necessity in time, as it may get clogged after a couple of vaping rounds.

Vapor Production and Performance: Once you have turned the battery on, you can adjust the voltage or temperature by clicking on the button twice, and once when it comes to your desired setting. The voltage can be set to 3.7V, 4.2V, or 4.7V. Either way, vapor production was impressive. As we went with the higher voltage, a warmer vapor in higher quantities was produced. The flavor from the e-liquid was distinguishable, with a smooth throat hit that beginners and advanced users will love.

For dry herb vaping, we used the lowest temperature option and got just the right amount of vape—clouds and clouds with great flavor and throat hit.

Comparing to the Series 3, this kit is less tight when it comes to airflow, so those who want tight, long drags may want V2 to have an adjustable airflow in the future. This kit, nevertheless, is also great for a mouth to lung inhale.

Battery Life and Atomizers: The battery life out of the Series 7 is simply amazing. With an 1800mAh battery, it is capable of lasting the whole day with moderate e-liquid vaping. Dry herb vaping consumed more power in reaching high temperatures that drained the battery faster. The V2 Pro Series 7 Vaporizer also has a pass-through feature, which means you can continue vaping while charging the battery.

The e-liquid tank holds 2.4 ml, while the dry herb tank holds 1300 mm3 of material. Thus, the tanks can hold much more medium than the Series 3, allowing the user to vape more with a single filling. A little disadvantage with V2’s Series 7 cartridges is that they do not have replaceable coils, and thus should be replaced as a whole when they get worn out, and replacements are a bit expensive. They do, however, last long compared to other cartridges, but having the option to replace the coils instead of the whole cartridge should make it all perfect.

Additionally, since the heating elements are made of glass and ceramic, residue will build up eventually. Fortunately, cleaning the Silver Surfer is easy and can be done with a clean cloth and some alcohol.

Additional Details

Advanced users who use different mediums in vaping will love the V2 Pro Series 7 because of its 3-in-1 capacity. The vapor production and performance of this kit is comparable to mods and more superior units. Add that to its ability to vaporize different mediums without hassle—with a price that is much lower than more advanced 3-in-1 vaporizers in the market.

The temperature settings for dry herb vaping can be set to 200, 210, and 225 degrees Celsius, with the lowest temperature setting giving us about 1 and a half hours of continuous vaping.

Overall, the V2 Pro Series 7 3-in-1 Vaporizer is an excellent kit to invest in because of its 3-in-1 capacity, powerful battery with variable options, great vapor production, and ease of use and maintenance. It should definitely be added to V2’s best products so far.
