VaporFi claims that their products help you make the switch from tobacco cigarettes to healthier alternatives. Whether their claim is true or not, their latest offering the VaporFi Pro 3 Starter Kit offers an ideal mouth-to-lung vaping experience. Although the vaporizer has a well-though-out combination of atomizer and battery, it’s an ideal kit for only those who are new to vaping. I have been using this $49.99 vape for about two weeks now, here’s my experience with it.

Smooth Flavor, Mediocre Vapor, Quick Heat Up

While most low-end starter kits start giving a burnt taste or dry hits, especially when the tank is about to run out of e-liquid, the VaporFi Pro 3 impressed me with its smooth and sweet flavor, even for the last few puffs. I believe the Japanese Organic Cotton and a slew of juice holes stretching the atomizer play a major role in offering the smoothly flavorful tastes. Another thing that impressed me was its quick heat up; you will start getting a rich flavor as soon as you start vaping. The only thing that was unexceptional was the vapor production. It does produce a fair amount of vapor, but you can’t expect a lot from the Pro 3 atomizer that has a 2-ohm coil in it, and has a maximum wattage of just 14watts.

Elegant Design, Sturdy Build

No complaints whatsoever when it comes to the design and build quality. As compared to the previous models, it has a more modern looking design and is available in eight different colors. On top of that, you can choose different colors for the atomizer and the battery, which means, there can be up to 64 color combinations. The vaporizer not only looks remarkably stunning, it also gives a sense of durability when you hold it because of the stainless steel housing. VaporFi has used the industry leading Pyrex glass for the tank. All in all, it’s hard to find any fault in the design and build of Pro 3, and we must give it full marks.

Small Tank, Decent Battery Life

You can charge the Pro 3 with any USB cable, which is an added solution. It comes with a 1000 mAh battery and a 2.5ml tank. While you can get vaporizers with much bigger tanks and battery capacities, but the Pro 3 doesn’t try to be the top of the line vaporizer, and the specs are not bad for an entry-level device. The battery might not last a whole day of vaping but the good thing is that it charges pretty quickly, and the vaporizer also has the pass through feature. The handy feature, which is missing in some of the more expensive vaporizers and mods, allows you to vape while the device is on charging.

Ease of Use – The Biggest Selling Point

As I mentioned earlier, the device might not be the best performer, but it’s one of the easiest vaporizers to use. The top fill design makes refilling a breeze. Replacing your atomizer is as easy as pie, thanks to the quirky “No Spill Coil Swap System”. Using the device is extremely easy, and so is charging it. What’s more, you can easily change the tank with the one of your choice, as the Pro 3 has a removable drip tip design.

Final Verdict

The VaporFi Pro 3 isn’t the best unit available on the market, but it delivers what it promises. I’ve tried dozens of starter kits, most of them don’t even come close to the Pro 3, both in term of build quality and performance. However, this device is ideal for only new vapers or those who have only used cig-a-likes and aren’t ready for a sub-ohm vaporizer yet. As far as the price is concerned, the kit is definitely worth it and won’t disappoint you.
